 | | | | If you love "Miracle Fighters", as far as I know this is the next best thing. Not quite as good as "Miracle Fighters" but just as enjoyable. The best Taoist kung fu fighter films that I have seen are, in order of my preference:
- Miracle Fighters
- Shaolin Drunkard
- Drunken Dragon
- Taoism Drunkard
All these films are great and are worth a look. If anyone knows of other films along these lines, please let us know what they are. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | I have watched this film many times and it is still one of the most entertaining kung fu films I have ever seen. Basically, the story is about a drunken shaolin monk (Yuen Cheung Yan) who has to capture a kung fu fighting "monster" who has escaped from the temple. On his way he meets and teams up with Yuen Yat Choh, who is looking to find a wife. The action scenes, choreographed by Yuen Woo Ping, are excellent and imagnitive. There are plenty of comedy moments in the film and some weird ones, for example, there's a fight scene involving a giant poisonous frog. Overall, this is a really good, underrated film. Buy it. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
