| Plot: | Regretting the unfortunate fact that he killed a child's father fourteen years ago, Wai vows to leave the triads and adopt the now-orphaned child. But circumstances seem to conspire against him...

| Overview: | To repay Sun's (Pao Fong) kindness, Wai Yat Ming (Ti Lung) went to the U.S. to help Sun to settle the gang war conflicts of fourteen years ago. Before he went, Wai asked his girlfriend Tse Shu Wai (Olivia Cheng) to adopt a child named Tse Shu Ming (Fennie Yuen) from an orphanage. Ming's father had been killed by Wai, who had always regretted this rash act. Unfortunately, Wai's mission failed, and he was sent to prison for fourteen years. After Wai was released, he was determined to get out of the triads and lead a peaceful life with Tse and Ming. But trouble was on the horizon...
