The Bastard All Content Used With Permission. ![]() ![]() Fighting a guy like yourself must be hard in this, 'The Bastard'. A young man is used by an evil gang to replace the evil boss' son in jail, because they looked the same as each other. It has a very average story and action scenes. -DarkHumour (see my profile) ![]() If you want realistic fight scenes and/or a good story, this is for you. He does find his father and this is when he learns some very harsh lessons about the variety and complexities of human nature. At times heart wrenching, this is also a movie that makes great use of realistic martial arts and values such as frienship, honesty, love, and poetic justice. ![]() One of Tsung Hua's greatest roles, and Lily Li's performance is touching to say the least. The choreographing of the fight scenes are superb in this film. A gritty, moving look at the hard facts of being destitute. ![]()
