Plot:	These beautifully animated episodes are based on masterpieces of modern Japanese Literature. Includes "The Sound of Waves: Parts 1 & 2" by Mishima Yukio and "Growing Up" by Higuchi Ichiyo.
Overview:	These beautifully animated episodes are based on masterpieces of modern Japanese Literature. THE SOUND OF WAVES PARTS 1 & 2 (by Mishima Yukio): A poor fisherman falls in love with the daughter of the most powerful man in his village. To overcome this obstacle, he must prove his bravery on the arena he knows best: the ever-changing, eternal sea. GROWING UP (by Higuchi Ichiyo): Two friends are torn apart when one joins a gang, betraying the bond of trust between them. As they develop into individuals, will the capacity for forgiveness grow with them?
