| Overview: | Bela Lugosi is an otherwise normal gentleman who goes insane when he thinks about his late wife. The plot thickens when he is transofmred via hypnosis into an unwitting murderer at the behest of his wife's ghost. An innocent man is executed for Kessler's first murder, but the victim's twin brother teams with Kessler's daughter to determine the identity of the true killer. "The Invisible Ghost" presents a dark, moody atmosphere throughout, with Lugosi delivering a full-blooded performance as a decent man controlled by powerful homicidal impulses beyond his control.
