| The story is about two guys, one who got his arms cut off and the other with his legs burnt to a cinder, who find a skinny yoga master and learn kung fu from him. Then the story involves finding jade horses that reveal an invincible kung fu technique.
I can only assume this film was made after the Chang Cheh classic "Crippled Avengers", but what makes this film unique is the fact that this does contain actual cripples. It is sort of creepy to see this, especially the armless guy with his stump that is still active and stimulates a bow staff quite sufficiently, or the guy with deformed legs who can walk with his hands utilizing his upper body strength. Overall, though, it is fun to watch something original onscreen that makes this film different from other films.
The kung fu fights were great--not the best, but great. The story is not too good, but it doesn't ruin the movie. Overall, this film is a nice little gem to add to the kung fu collection. |
