"Invincible Armour" is without a doubt a kung fu classic. The plot is very solid, with many interesting characters and relationships that play out beautifully. The most impressive thing about "Invincible Armour" is its ability to tell a story through magnificent martial arts action. There are not many extended scenes of dialogue, but tons of hard-hitting action scenes with true purpose. This is very good filmmaking!

The film sticks to the script and never strays a foot from the action or the unfolding plot. I was a little worried when a female character appeared that seemed to take an interest in the hero of the film (John Liu). I thought we were going to see a meaningless subplot involving love and feelings, but was relieved when that never came to fruition. "Invincible Armour" also features a great cast of underrated stars, such as John Liu and Hwang Jang Lee. Even action director Yuen Biao shows up for a cameo only to show his skills and die.

This is definitely a pure kung-fu film that focuses on the action and many different styles and weapons are on display. "Invincible Armour" is a great old-schooler that is a must-see, especially for fans of leg fighters.

You can't go wrong with the cast. Ng See Yuen usually puts together a dream cast and "Invincible Armour" is no exception. Plenty of great fights, my favorite being the spear fight at the end. Good production value as far as the costumes, story, locations, and some great music. Lots of other classic scenes (the egg scene) just make it a classic. Don't pass this up.

This is one powerhouse of a kung fu flick! Tons of fight scenes--actually you get an overload of fu fighting in this one--and suprisingly good epic story. The sets are very natural--not a huge budget used on this one, but what they use works well. Contains some very good martial arts actors like John Liu and Hwang Jang Lee, who perform great, skilled performances and acrobatics displays. So if you feel the urge to overdose on fu fighting fanfare, this flick is the drug to pick.

The story is about John Liu (I'm bad with names) who is set up for murdering his general and is now on the run from practically everyone. He must hunt down those who made his life crappy and so on.

This film defines how to make a consummate kung fu movie. This film has excellent fights (choreographed by Yuen Biao and Corey Yuen, NOT YUEN WO PING) and the story is actually quite good if you can get past the asinine English dubbing. ("I wouldn't touch your money if it made me sick, sucka!")

Overall, one of my favorites. This film kicks bloody arse, son.

"The Invincible Armour" is a classic. It is a must-have if you consider yourself even a casual martial arts fan.

John Liu, Hwang Jang Lee, and Tino Wong all give excellent performances. The fights, costumes, plot all work together in this masterpiece.

This film is also very funny. I don't generally like kung fu comedies, but this has just the right amount.

Buy this movie, you will not be disappointed.

This movie has many of the same people that were involved with "Secret Rivals" parts 1 & 2. "Invincible Armour" has a feel that is very similar to "Secret Rivals 2", only better. The characters are all excellent in this movie, from John Lui as the framed general to the two white-haired masters. The plot is simple but very interesting from start to end. If you like old school kung fu, this is definitely a movie that won't disappoint.

My type of movie. Great white-haired/bearded villains. Loved the Iron Finger technique. A must-see if you love the "Hard To Kill" villain movie. Excellent movie.

I don't know what to say. This is one of my favorite kung fu films. The fights, the story...everything is perfect. Buy it and see for yourself.

As much as I enjoy Ng See Yuen's movies, John Liu's kicking and Hwang Jang Lee in a white wig and bushy eyebrows, this was never one of my favorites. The fights are plenty and good. And there can be no doubt about Liu's amazing kicking skills, and the overall fancy footwork of the actors involved. The cast is good on the whole. But I never felt that either John Liu or Tino Wong had enough screen presence or charisma to warrant them as leading men. They are somewhat stiff and wooden in their acting. I personally felt they were more suited for villainous roles. But all in all, they make do. The end fight is slightly disappointing, considering the talent involved. I don't feel that Hwang Jang Lee was allowed to bring his A-game in this fight.

The movie as a whole is a decent effort from Ng See Yuen. But not exactly a favorite of mine.

Classic. A must-have. Three old men in one movie who all have skills--well, I guess the first old man does not count, he dies too soon. Hwang Jang Lee, the eagle master, and invincible armour, it's just not fair.

Very entertaining. One of those invincible guy movies where you literally have to learn a brand new kung-fu style to defeat him. Best of all, the star learns the style from a kid. A little soft in the middle but a lot of action nonetheless.

This movie is a classic film. The only thing I hate was the agitating English dubbing.

Another masterpiece featuring the legendary Hwang Jang Lee and his on-screen nemesis, John Liu. A flowing movie from start to finish, highlighted by a great story, several twists, nice fighting and an outstanding cast. A real collector's item.

"Invincible Armour" is a highly recommended classic of the old kung fu genre. According to the old Martial Arts Movies magazine, it's one of the four fine movies made by Seasonal Films starring super kickers John Liu ("Secret Rivals") and Hwang Jang Lee ("Drunken Master"). It has great production and cinematography, along with the awesome choreography of Corey Yuen ("The Transporter"), as well as great direction by Ng See Yuen ("Secret Rivals").

Hwang Jang Lee at arguably his finest. John Liu and Tino Wong are excellent. The kicking skills of Liu and Lee are reason enough to watch this movie. Even the soundtrack is perfect for this movie. It has a good storyline, good acting, and I give it a thumbs up!

I have this film on VHS. A classic Kung Fu in every sense of the word.

Although not my favourite,''Invincible Armour'' showcases the eagle claw and iron armour techniques well and the fighting sequences are done fast and slick. It has a good storyline which is deeper than the usual kung fu fare of ''you killed my master!'' and the soundtrack is also quite atmospheric.

A worthy addition to any kung fu movie lovers collection!!
