Beautiful location photography, the now-legendary score, and, of course, the haunting presence of the gorgeous Soledad Miranda make this movie I'm glad to have in my collection.

It's a little slow, and the plot ultimately doesn't do much, but I was captivated throughout.

Usually, what you're looking for in a horror movie is horror. _Vampyros Lesbos_ fails to deliver in a big way.

The soundtrack is intrusive and jarringly mismatched to the action, such as it is, and each character appears to have selected at the outset the expression that he or she is to wear for the remainder of the film.

In essence, there is very little here to recommend, or to salvage the film from interminable boredom and chronic confusion. Abrupt editing does nothing to aid comprehension; frequent recourse to gratuitous lesbian erotica, similarly, adds nothing to the film as a whole.

It is hard to resist for me to see a story of female vampires...I know that my edition is not the complete but this little, strange movie fascinate me the same. The beauty of the actress, the hot sun revealed on the high-saturated photography, the sensuality that every vampire story must have and the incredibly strange fashion of the '70 really made this pelicula very fascinate!!! don't miss

This should be a love-it-or-hate-it movie, but instead its just pretty lacklustre, tame and tacky. Franco is a hack who occasionally plucks some striking images out of the dusty areas of his brain. Still, he's a more interesting character than, say, Simon West or Michael Bay, but maybe you should read about his exploits rather than watching the mostly dull films he made out of them.

Being a fan of all genres, different languages etcetc. I was keen on watching this film, but my enthusiasm was quickly diminished. The films' plot is dull and tedious, I had no feelings for the film.

The direction is terrible, poorly framed, not artistic at all.

The acting was okay, but the material they had was poor.

The lesbian material was rather boring. Don't think the film spends a lot of time on this subject, it doesn't. I don't think the lesbian vampire was at all interesting.

Overall, a terrible film. I viewed it in wide-screen.
