This film is competent and although enjoyable, was a little slow for me. The idea is original. This Japanese man becomes a star overnight in this little backward country with totally outrageous songs and dress. I would have loved to have seen more of his original competitor myself-a total geek! Hilarious! (I thought so anyway.)
