The dub [on the US DVD by Tai Seng] is just ridiculous. Two villains who wear bells around their necks are named Ding Dong and Dong Dong. How can anybody take this movie remotely seriously with shoddy dubbing like this? I might have enjoyed this movie more if it were subtitled (correctly).

It's movies like this that give kung fu movies a bad rap. This movie exudes low budget in almost every aspect. Too many comedic elements in this film, plus it's missing that "oomph" to draw you into the film. Tan Tao Liang's kicks are impressive but do little in making it a good movie.

One of my favorites of all time! I remember watching this film as a runny nose kid; now that I'm 28 and finally able to own my own, I still feel the same! Just loved it! All thanks 2 HKFlix!

This is definitely not the best kicking movie of all time--far from it. Despite the cool title, the film does not deliver. The story is boring. The comedy is too lame. There is not enough Dorian Tan or good martial arts action.

I’m a big fan of Dorian Tan and independent kung fu flicks and I wanted to like “The Leg Fighters”, but I just can’t recommend it.

If you like bootwork, then this is the movie for you. Tan Tao Liang is simply amazing in this, but so is the main opponent and the girl as well. Everybody in this movie can kick, and they do, often. This movie does contain a lot of silly comedy, but the action is so cool and plentiful that it doesn't matter. Watch this high-kicking classic.

Oh yeah, this is the top of the line kung fu action. The ultimate leg fighters do kick butt here and proved it. One of the best high flying kick flicks in the biz. The master here is the best, besides that Venom guy--he's the best. Go get it. Another kung fu classic.

Tan Tao Liang does his usual kicks and is very good as usual. His left leg his quite amazing (the only other lefty that I saw as good or better than him his Bill Wallace, ex-professional PKA middleweight world champion). I loved Hsia Kwan Lee (the girl student). Great legs and man she knows how to used them! Most of he fights are very good although I am usually not crazy about what I call "duo fighters" (2 guys who fight as a team). Again, just enough humor to my taste. Fun movie to watch. The ending could have been better (either it ends that way or maybe a minute or two are missing). Overall it is a very good movie. Another in-between movie. Not really a 4½* but more than a 4*, like a 4.3.

I grew up following the adventures of the male hero star in "The Leg Fighters" and and his high kicking style, dreaming of being able to kick like that. I can't recall him ever playing a villian. Good movie.

This is one of the best Kung Fu movies out there. The kicks are unbelievable and the fights are superb. A must-buy for all Karate Fans.
