The total running time of this DVD is 187-188 minutes, although it is listed as 180 minutes on the box. They are both accurate because 7 minutes of the film from Part 1 was repeated in the beginning of Part 2. If you take away that repeated 7 minutes, then the film is 180 minutes.

TECH NOTES:
Misalignment of the image leaves borders on either side of the screen. The print, which displays frequent speckling and mildly low resolution is in need of further restoration as does the Mandarin audio track which has a hollow, monotone quality. Extras include a profile of director King Hu.
