A Hong Kong woman's daufhter is kidnapped and taken to China by her ex mother-in-law, and she struggles to find her.
Overview:
[NOTE: Possible Spoilers.] The story of a woman (Koo Mei Wah) who lived a very hard life during her teens. After she got married, she gave birth to a baby girl (Lee Choi Fung), and subsequently divorced her husband. In court, she tried her best and finally got custody of her daughter. Later, without Koo's permission, her mother-in-law kidnapped the girl, and fled to China. Koo tried but she couldn't find her daughter and became despondent. After ten years, Koo finally gets some good news and learns the address of her daughter. Koo meets her daughter in China and helps her immigrate to Hong Kong, enroll in school, and begin to catch up on the time they spent apart.
