Overview:	New York is plagued by a series of perfect murders. Since the police are baffled, the FBI sends Jerry Cotton to investigate. But he too cannot break this chain of apparently unrelated murders. His only hope is to arouse the suspicion of the murderers and make himself the target of their next murder. His plan seems to be successful. But can he rely on his contact to shoot him with blanks in his attempt to come to a face-to-face encounter with the gang's mysterious boss?
