Plot:	Sally Yeh plays Angie, a Canadian graduate student studying Chinese superstitions. She gets plenty of material for her thesis when she moves into a haunted flat and becomes possessed by a musical ghost and gets mixed up in a supernatural murder. Overview:	This film was made back in 1984 before either of the lead actors, Chow Yun Fat and Sally Yeh, had become famous. Sally comes to Canada to work on her Masters–a paper on Chinese superstition. She finds a very inexpensive apartment through realtor Raymond Wong. The apartment magnificent and Wong tells her that there must be ghosts here for the apartment to be so cheap. In a humorous scene, he offers to take his pants off and run around the apartment to ward off evil spirits. As it turns out, the apartment is haunted. Apparently, a ghost of a dead singer killed her married lover and then shot herself. She proceeds to throws Raymond out the window. Chow Yun Fat is called to investigate. Like Raymond, he is attracted to Sally. He is determined to get to the bottom of the supernatural mystery and goes to his sifu–Lo Lieh–to see what he can do to exorcise the ghost. A fast-paced, amusing film, the film is one of the more under-rated HK films out there. Sally, one of the most under appreciated Hong Kong actresses, does very well and Chow is simply fabulous–lean and playful–with charisma that may not have been evident to the audience back then just leaps out at you now.
