Overview:	Andy Lau plays a HK photo-journalist who is working on assignment in Vietnam. After becoming friends with a translator, Yuen Hung, Andy is thrown in jail for being involved in a traffic accident. Yuen asks Andy to look for her brother who is also in jail. Andy finds Yuen's brother, but can he escape from his punishment of three years of hard labor? A tragic tail of hardships, injustice and lost relationships.
