Nightmare Zone does something that few Hong Kong horror films do. It holds back. Just when you think the story is about get good or the you-know-what is about to hit the fan, it doesn't. The three stories are generic and never really satisfy the viewer. There is virtually no gore and no nudity which doesn't help the dull stories along. Oddly enough, there is some nice cinematography and lighting but nothing spectacular. Avoid this one if you can.
