| This movie was average in action and storyline. Chui Man Cheuk gets to show off his excellent martial art skills, but it was all spoilt in my opinion, by the fast and choppy camera cuts. The camera was hardly ever still during the fight scenes, which makes it hard to see what's happening. The acting of the actors was not bad at all. Chui Man Cheuk played a friendly, fun and caring character, whereas Anthony Wong played a serious character. Its a 'save the day' kind of story. The film starts off nicely with an interesting plot, but as it progresses it kind of gets ruined by unnecessary happenings and that kind of stuff. Some parts were funny, but overall some people like this kind of movie and some people do not. I did apparently enjoy this movie the first time I watched it because of its action every ten minutes or so, despite the choppy camera angles, but I would not like to watch it again, because then it would be boring. Its NOT a Fist of legend type flick, where you watch it as many times and still not get bored of it. Instead its clearly a quick flick where the action feels rushed, but then again you could be one of those who would enjoy this type of movie, which I did at first, but not again if I ever did watch it again. |
