The difference between the Mega Star and Mei Ah versions is the quality of the transfer and sound. On the Mega Star DVD, the picture is sharper, clearer and has fewer artifacts; the Cantonese and Mandarin audio tracks are remixed; and there are multiple subtitle options, which are removable. The Mei Ah version has "Imbedded Subtitles" that cannot be turned off. Any difference in running time is the result of transfer speed, not of cuts.
