Plot:	"Sada" is a compelling erotic thriller, based on the true story of Sada Abe, a Japanese geisha, who murdered and castrated her lover on May 19, 1936.
Overview:	On the night of May 19th, 1936, Sada Abe, a Japanese geisha, was seen and arrested on the streets of Tokyo carrying an emasculated male genital in her hand. Sada's story has inspired Oshima Nagisa's controversial masterpiece "In The Realm Of The Senses" in 1976. This equally sensational remake is directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi and stars Hitomi Kuroki, the female lead of "Paradise Lost". The film was awarded the international Film Critics Prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
