| Overview: | The story of a woman forced to run dirty errands for triad loan sharks until she is taken under the wing of a seemingly sympathetic cop. Their relationship hits a wall, however, when she cannot accept the violence he feels is a necessary part of his job; and--as an alternative to returning to her sordid past--she goes abroad to study, leaving him behind. Years later she returns to try to find him again.
