Being an orphan himself our star finds it impossible to turn away the 25 children (much to the consternation of his fiancee), many of whom aren't really orphans, just kids looking for a free meal, which all leads to a series of amusingly awkward situations and misunderstandings.

The ending is very satisfying as well.
