OK - I was warned - totally disgusting and repugnant - but then isn't that why I bought it!?!
Made in the mid 80's this movie is a technical masterpiece. Being totally groundbreaking this is a must-see for all gorefans. Ok, some of the flesh-footage is a bit to jelly-ish and the decapitation of the rooster in the beginning where the blood squirts out could have been made with better FX. However, along with the infamous (and yet-to-be-released officially on DVD with English subtitles) "Tumbling Doll Of Flesh" ("Niku Daruma"), this is hardcore! Extra plus for the funny singing of the killer at the end of the movie.
There is not much of a story to this movie, it's more like do-not-bore-us-get-to-the-gore kind of thing where a girl gets kidnapped, druged and butchered in an old Japaneese samurai-traditional style.
