This is a very good one-disc summary of martial arts cinema. It is impossible to be inclusive at that length, but it is a good attempt which whets the appetite and fills in a few of the blanks in the Western understanding of the genre.

Well made doc on the Hong Kong film industry. Rare shots of the Shaw Brothers and Golden Harvest Studios which were the two main studios from the genre's heyday.

Also, great behind the scene and historical clips and interviews from Hong Kong cinema's hall of fame superstars. Great for the serious fan!

Cinema of Vengeance is a good documentary film about the history ("fistory") of Martial Arts in the movies.

Kung Fu, Wushu, Karate and many more styles are presented by many Artists such as Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Sammo Hung and so on.

You can also see some scenes from early Kung Fu movies. Pretty rare pictures though.

Nevertheless, it's worth buying it.
