This is another Moonstone budget disk and like the others this means that it has been transferred badly from a video source. While the print is quite poor in that there are plenty of scratches, lines, blemishes and sparkle throughout this is compounded by problems with the actual video source. During the opening credits I noticed a slight ghosting although it wasn't obvious later on. However there were colour flickers and scratches that were obviously caused by the video source. Also detail level is not very high at all, the picture is quite soft and colours are not particularly well defined.

The picture is presented in full screen only and this more or less ruins the fight scenes. There are numerous occasions when the action is actually happening off screen due to cropping of the picture.

Worse still is the fact that Moonstone have not found a complete version of the film and have simply used an old one submitted in 1988 (according to the BBFC website there have been no other versions submitted). Although the running time is listed on the disk as being approximately 90 minutes it is actually 78. The BBFC lists this film as having been passed without any cuts but its quite obvious that the film was cut before being submitted. One of the obvious cuts comes where Bruce Le manages to get hold of a pair of nunchukas and suddenly he's lost them again. Not only that but the guy he is fighting has also lost his sword. This sort of thing winds me up, especially when the company hasn't even got the decency to list the correct running time on the cover to give us some kind of indication. This isn't the first time that they have done this either.

There is only one English dubbed Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtrack provided. As I mentioned at the start of the review its extremely difficult to understand as everybody speaks with a Spanish accident. It also suffers from frequent background hiss.

There are no extras on the disk at all and there are no animated menus but at least there are 12 chapter stops.

Not quite as bad as their release of '36 Chambers : The Final Confrontation' but a close second.

Very poor quality, typical of the Moon Stone label.
