A very fun movie to be taken seriously. Jackie's form is top notch. That is why Tony Jaa admires Jackie Chan so much. He delivers with the finest of details.

This movie contains some of the best kung fu scenes in Jackie's early kung fu years. The movie is fast paced and pretty good. One of his best early films.

YThis is, in my opinion, Jackie's best work from the period. A must own for old school fans.MS10197

This early JC movie is a must for any JC fan. It is as good as is earlier movie like "Fearless Hyena", "Drunken Master", "The Young Master". You will not be disappointed.

YI totally agree. Chan's best film from the period. This is before his films became filled with horrible slapstick comedy. A must own.MS10197

Great movie. One of Jackie Chan's best. I loved the action sequences and the villain.

A must-see for those who are late on the throw back kung fu scene.

A lot of martial arts movie fans do not like Jackie Chan's brand of kung fu comedies. To me Jackie Chan is one of the greatest comedic actors, stuntmen, martial artists, fight choreographers, and plain all-around performers of his generation! His incredible career spans three decades of great entertainment. "Snake And Crane Arts" is one of his early films produced by the equally under-appreciated Lo Wei (director of Bruce Lee's "Big Boss" and "Fists Of Fury"). This early gem should appeal to all fans of seventies kung fu action. The plot is good, the supporting characters are colorful, and the action is great. We also see the ever-lovely Nora Miao wielding a mean flute as she battles the bad guys with Jackie. A must-see for fans of the great Chan!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I have been critical in the past about Jackie "clowning" too much for my liking. There is minimal comedic clowning in this one and Jackie is excellent. I highly recommend this movie.

YExactly. This film is great because the action is good and the comedy nonsense is kept to a minimum.MS10197
