| Overview: | At the stroke of midnight, Lee Yi-wah (Jacqueline Wu Chien-lien) jumps off the top of a building in front of several dozen witnesses, hits the concrete, then gets up and walks away with nothing more than a split lip. Meanwhile, a gang of criminals, trying to rob an office building, are interrupted by police. During the subsequent gun battle, one of the perpetrators (stammering simpleton Chicken Wong, played by Danny Lee Sau-yin) and one of the cops (Tommy Cheung, played by Dayo Wong Chi-wah) are severely injured, leaving the former a vegetable and the latter a cripple. Cheung's girlfriend, Laura (Yu Li), remembers that, just before she jumped, Yi-wah said she would be re-born via a secret Taoist method called "walk in." After much convincing, Yi-wah (whose twenty something body now houses the spirit of a bitter old man and is revered as an almost holy figure because of his/her mystic abilities) agrees to tell Cheung how to undergo the process, which will allow his soul to enter into Wong's comatose shell. Cheung commits suicide at 12AM and the transference is a success, with him taking over Chicken's now-healthy body. However, he also inherits all of the man's problems: premature ejaculation, two different sets of triads out to kill him, gambling debts, and a wife (Law Koon-lan), two mistresses (one of whom is played by Yvonne Yung Hung), and a mother who hate him. Then, there is also Chicken's bizarre sister May (Ada Choi Siu-fan), who, when she finds out that her brother now has a much higher I.Q. and far greater confidence, falls in love with him. There is also Laura, who is no longer attracted to Tommy since he is now twenty years older and not nearly as handsome. Finally, there is Chicken himself, whose spirit has started to re-assert itself.
