Decent flick. Ending was kinda' crappy. Action was good. If the ending was better, this could be a classic--and if it was cut correctly.

Great old school flick. I've always enjoyed Wilson Tong movies that he's directed. They usually have a decent story and this was similar to what "Daggers 8" had as for a plot twist.

Some really good training scenes and plenty of good fights. Angela Mao's role is small in this so don't expect to see much of her. Other than that this a true classic. For any fan of the snake style or lobster--yes lobster--style, this is a must-see.

One of best from the old school, it's very rare because of the cast and the story. The choreography is also both creative and flows. Nice to see Wilson Tong as main villain and him fighting Fung Hak On in the intro. fight--which should have been the finale! And what a cast of extras: Angela Mao, Phillip Kao Fei, Michael Chan Wei Man. The main actor is a newcomer. I didn't like him, but he wasn't so bad either. It also got into annoying slapstick comedy, with Tai Po, Bolo Yeung, Cheng Kang Yeh, but was saved with both the quantity and quality of the action.

This film is pretty good. It has a really good plot and the fighting skills are ace boon coon. It's a story about a father and son who don't seem to get along, but there is a catch to this that I won't give away. Believe me, the good guys are good and the bad dudes are bad in this story. It even has its funny moments. All around it's a really good movie. The stunts are pretty amazing but believable.

Not a bad kung fu movie. The action was good but the story could have been better. The concept was good. The execution was bad. You can't really expect a lot from kungfu flix in terms of story. That is just secondary to the action.

Not a bad movie. It didn't blow me away but it was pretty good. It's all about the snake style.

A Wilson Tong-directed snake style movie. Need I say more? Not really, but I'm gonna' anyway. If you are in need of a serious shapes-fest, then this movie is the ticket. Sporting a dream cast, decent production value, and sweet choreo from Tong himself.

Headlining this noble indie effort is unknown Ng Kwan Lung, a real life snake style exponent. He may not be the most charismatic of leads, but at least his martial skills are on point and he's really not too bad overall.

The rest of the cast is a plethora of familiar faces. Tong himself, Fung Hak On, Chan Wai Man, Angela Mao, Philip Ko Fei and Bolo, no less (adding another sideshow freak character to his list here). With names like these, it's pretty much awesome old school ass kicking guaranteed.

The story is the usual standard stuff; and despite a few loose ends, it all flows fairly well and keeps you interested. There are some cool training scenes, nice locations, and an enjoyable theme tune--this thing was stuck in my head for days.

The end fight rocks! A clash of snake fist vs. lobster claw, shapes a go go--gotta' love it. The crisp choreo and combined talent of this movie makes it a worthy addition to any old school fan's collection. Check it out, you won't regret it.

Another great martial arts film. I'm not sure if the Lobster Style was the official name of the style used by one of the characters, but it was very good. A must-see.

When a movie starts out with two people squaring off in the middle of an open field, you can pretty much guess that it's going to be an action flick. The action is really good and there's plenty of it, but there's some really dumb comedy early on which slows the action down, and I'm really not sure why you would train the son of someone you plan to kill in the deadly snake style. Still, I recommend this because the action and cast are really good.

Snake style is one of my fave style to watch, and to have a whole movie devoted to it, I am very pleased. This has everything from revenge, double-crossing, and plenty of snake style action.

Great old school classic. Probably one of the best movies featuring the snake style. Great choreography and very good training scenes. Some interesting acrobatic scenes. Often promoted as an Angela Mao film but she only has a small part in the movie--but she's gracious as always in it! Good performances by Wilson Tong and Philip Ko as well as by Fong Hak Onn. Plot is average at best.
