Overview:	The historical epic begun with "Burning of Imperial Palace" continues... After the burning of the Yuanming Palace, the Ching Dynasty was in great disorder. Emperor Xianfeng dared not return to Beijing but hid in his summer resort to live in luxury. He died in the following year. The struggle for power in the Imperial Palace followed. Empress Dowager Cixi carried out Xinyou Coup d' Etat' and overthrew the opposition forces. The six-year-old master was enthroned and the "Reign Behind a Curtain" began.
