Not really as luktung is only a few decades old and the name was first used just 40 years ago. Luktung was a development from older folk styles on the central region of Thailand, but is not part of old thai lore.

This film is excellent entertainmant with some of thailands greatest singers appearing. It's a pity that the concert at the end of the film is not a lot longer.
