Plot:	A singing contest is to be held, and the winner will receive one million baht (the form of currency in Thailand). Suddenly, people from all over the country flock to Bangkok to try out, each with different hopes and dreams. Let the music begin!
Overview:	This movie is a first for Thai cinema ­ the first time a Thai movie uses an age-old part of Thai lore and history: luktung, or folk music. And not only one, but many of Thailand's best and favorite luktung singers/musicians appear in this warm and endearing comedy about urbanites pining for their old, glorious rural days. All the characters involved love ­ indeed are obsessed with ­ folk music. These people come from all walks of life, have different kinds of jobs, but they all have one thing in common: they want to be famous singers. It so happens that a contest is to be held, and the winner will be the lucky recipient of one million baht. The contest is being organized by a kind old man whose wish is to see all lovers of luktung unite and sing, before he dies. It looks like he might get his wish, as people from all over the country flock to Bangkok to try out, all with different motivations and plans for what to do with the money. Let the music begin!
