 | | | | Leon seems made for this role as he takes on the village officer role. With Sammi on the other side, she makes a great counterpart to Leon's serious and quiet character. The plot is nothing out of the ordinary, though some of the scenes are touching and unforgetable, such as climbling the tree for sour mangos. The closing scene brought tears to my eyes as the knife was thrown and bullets were shot, and the song Sammi sings is haunting. Surprises and fun, you never know what to expect. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | Here is a nice little date movie with tons of humorous scenes. Sammi Cheng plays a rising pop star in HK. Along with her manager and his crew (which are all gay by the way), she gets ready to perform her first concert. They secretly hire an undercover bodyguard from the police force (Leon Lai), because there has been obscene letters from a die-hard fan. The movie offers some nice songs both by Sammi and Leon. Overall, the movie doesn't try to do anything too special, but it will be perfect for those who are looking for a romance/comedy flick. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
