A must-see for fans of Prison on Fire just to see how mentalities have changed in ten years' time. Tony Leung substitutes for Tony Leung and the tough guys of the eighties are replaced by the Young and Dangerous ensemble. Life in prison is no longer hell but a haven from society where inmates assist each other. Frankly, it's more like a layback summer camp. If you want Ringo's brand of heroism and hysterical tension which arguably belongs to the eighties, you won't find it here. But that's exactly the point of this film which is also drawn from experiences of real life inmates turned filmmakers who want to tell their version of the story.
IIB - "Adult Material; Parental Guidance Recommended" (roughly equal to an MPPA rating of "R") Films rated Category IIB contain large amounts of violence and/or nudity and sexual situations in addition to possible explicit language and adult situations.
