ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
Visually stunning and shot by master cinematographer Christopher Doyle (Hero, In the Mood For Love, Happy Together), Motel Cactus is a distinctly original look at modern sexual loneliness and desire.

Motel Cactus presents four very different intimate encounters set in Room 407 of a Seoul love hotel. Each represents the cycles of a relationship: starting, parting, yearning, reuniting. In Motel Cactus, two young people make love for the first time, a woman resents her lover’s lack of commitment, and an older couple get drunk and engage in raucous sex with a melancholy aftertaste. Finally, ex-lovers joyfully reunite only to discover that their lives have moved in radically separate directions.
