This was a beautiful movie about a woman's struggles. She is wed at 16 to a 10-year-old boy. She has a miserable life with him and is severly abused by her mother in law.
She finally leaves and though she encounters hardships, she is independent and happy living on her own.
She takes in a woman and baby and they struggle together to make ends meet.
They shot this film using all four seasons and it is incredibly beautiful.
I have to say, the very best part of this movie for me was the music. It had such an effect on me that I spent over a year trying to locate the OST. I could never find it. I finally was able to locate the movie though (which was not easy) and thankfully it included the OST on it. |
