This is a tough movie to rate. I think it's something you'll like (probably not love) or hate. The basic story is ugly woman (Toxic Avenger ugly) strikes out for revenge. Detective works to stop her. And in the end... an ending. The ending was the most dissatisfying part for me. I'm not sure what I expected, but something other than what I got. As for the rest, it was interesting. It kept my attention and moved along fairly well. There wasn't much action and the Sci-Fi was "limited". It mostly involved a treatment that kept the ugly woman normal.
Nothing special. Just a "solid" kind of movie. Litle of this, little of that. It should be an enjoyable watch as long as you don't set your expectations too high. |
