Blow back was shot in the Phillipines and was a strange mix of a host of movies: Good, Bad, the Ugly, Rambo, Duck you sucker, Hard Boiled. It was actually fun trying to guess where all the tributes came from. The story itself was over the top entertainment with enough bullets flying to keep Smith and Wesson happy for years---but, you think SOME of those shots would hit their target! Loads of action, a very predictable plot and the usual heroic bloodshed ending.
Oh, yeah Ms. Mei Yoshida has one of the most sensual and great voices; I wouldn't be surprised if she had done anime because she's so expressive.
For entertaining, mindless fun this is a show worth buying! |
