Worth mentioning is the Eastern Heroes dvd presentation that includes a rare Korean edit of the film, reportedly assembled by director Hwang Jang-Lee himself. While both this and the English version are still missing footage, the Korean language edit contains exclusive training scenes and extended fight scenes among other things. At times, in particular the beginning, the editing feels almost too rapid and obviously still in need of a spit polish but it's a very welcome inclusion after all.

Distributor: Tai Seng

Format: Region 0 DVD, NTSC

Length: 91 min

Aspect Ratio: Full Screen (1.33:1)

Audio Tracks: English (2.0 Mono)

Subtitles: None

Extras: Several trailers for other Tai Seng releases.

Notes: The picture is squeezed during the opening credits and turns into a standard full screen image afterwards that crops some of the action. Image quality throughout is above average for a budget release, but otherwise average as a whole. Color, clarity and contrast is good, but there is some print degradation and image warping. The Ocean Shores logo and disclaimer are also unceremoniously stamped in the center of the screen for a few seconds. The original English-dubbed audio has limited range. The voice acting is campy and entertaining.
