This movie is completely different from any of the other Park Chan-Wook films. It is wonderful. It's amazing how full the plot and characters are, when there are only about four or five different settings that you see the characters interact in. I am usually not interested in movies that have to do with the military, but this story is more about friendship and is so interesting.

I won't say too much for fear of ruining any viewer's first experience. I think that if you are into good Korean film, this is a must-have. You become totally attached to the characters and the journey that you are taken on is interesting and heartbreaking.

Fantastic story premise and the cast delivers some wonderful acting. It's definitely worth owning.

What would you do if you were stationed at an intense border between two technically warring countries? The movie starts with a conflict but the importance is not the "what" but the "why". The mystery unfolds watching the humanness for both opposing sides.

I bought "JSA" only hearing that it was a great film, and after watching I'd have to agree that it was a cleverly made movie. The acting is impeccable from the whole cast, and the suspense can become gripping. Ultimately, the story is about humanity and what happens in strenuous situations. The movie still thrills me even after watching it multiple times.

I love this movie. It does a good job of showing that political differences mean nothing and that they are still one in some respects. I thought that it was sad. it was beautifully acted and the plot was good it kept me entertained. it is a must buy!!! You Should get it. That's all I have to say. The only thing that I found annoying was that the Swiss were speaking in English instead of German they were speaking in English with a Swiss accent. that was really annoying.

The entire story takes place between the north and south Korean border. Their is a murder but it must be investigated by another party but it is much deeper than every one realizes.

When you watch this movie through out every think you know about what the conflict is about in the beginning.

I would not expect anything less from my favorite Korean Director PARK CHAN WOOK.

I was really skeptical about a film being this good...until I watched JSA. JSA is one of the few intensely heartwarming movies that is completed to perfection. Beautifully shot, acted, and written, JSA is absolutely fabulous. JSA will really change the way you look at people with different views.

Don't expect JSA to be an action packed shoot 'em up war movie. It's far more than that. It's pure entertainment that will leave you talking about it, thinking about it, and showing it to all of your friends. JSA is a film that should not be passed up at all.

A very intriguing film about a very sensitive subject from Korea. You will enjoy the "who done it" mystery as well as some of the military action.
