Hey, I'm going out on a limb here---but then, I've always gone against popular thought. Actually, I didn't find this flick all that bad! The idea of coexisting lives are common themes in Asian movies and I find that whole idea intriguing. As far as a story goes, there were some interesting twists--especially the final showdown--and I have to admit, I LIKE Cecilia. This offbeat tale surely had its drawbacks (both in story, character development, and lack of action), but I say give it a go and judge for yourself. If nothing else redeems this flick than the mere fact that Cecilia is pretty, then hey, that in itself is worth the price of admission. |
