The film was released in 1971. I saw it on a triple bill at the grind houses in downtown LA.
I owned this on VHS from Oceanic Dist. in LA. Subtitled, without the Flood soundtrack. The subtitled dialogue is less bravado and less interesting. This was the second kung fu flick I'd ever seen, the first I liked. I remember it warmly. The VHS copy I had was called "The Silver Spear".
Depending on where you look, this film was released either in 1971 or 1978.
