| Overview: | This could be good–the undercover cops are a blond Anthony Wong, posing as a priest, and the usually-entertaining Sam Lee, trying to pass himself off as a teacher. Also in the cast are Gillian Chung (of the musical group Twins), and Rachel Fu Tin Wing (also a singer, formerly known as Skinny Girl), who plays a character with a black belt in karate.
The director, Cheung Chi Sing, was nominated in the past for a Hong Kong Film Award (for the screenplay of Love and Sex Among the Ruins). He also worked on I Wanna Be Your Man, Stand By Me, and I've Got You Babe.
The film raced in and out of Hong Kong cinemas toward the end of January 2002, which sometimes (but not always) indicates a troubled or extremely low-budget production. But the cast and premise hold out the possibility of an enjoyable ride. We recommend it for fans of Anthony Wong and/or Sam Lee, and for adventurous souls who are open-minded and like to be surprised.
