The reason I had wanted to buy this movie is because of Wilson Tong's great performances in movies such as the Shaw Brother's films Treasure Hunters, Dirty Ho, and the Master Killer. Unfortunatly, this movie is no Shaw Brother's movie. The movie Duel Of The Brave Ones wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. This movie was a gangster movie, and people were getting hit saws, chains, and most of all people were killed with screwdrivers, go figure. Conversely, this movie was entertaining in it's own right; very fast choreography, and not bad story line either. Two stars [out of 5] for me. |
