 | | The DVD itself isn't at all good. In fact, one of the promo spots for the Master Arts Video label at the beginning of the DVD is like a poor internet download, all blocky and out of sync. The transfer is pretty grainy and scratched, and it's full screen, which is only to be expected, but there's a LOT of picture lost - everything looks really, really misframed. And a couple of minutes in, the screen kind of anamorphises for a while before correcting itself - but to be honest, none of this takes away from the experience, it actually kind of adds to the surrealist vibe. The only extra you get is a bunch of totally random chapter stops (matching the tone of the film perfectly). |
