| Overview: | Julian Cheung Chi-Lam is the leader of the small band of thieves. He always looks out for his brother, played by Simon Loui. It's Simon, though, who accidentally tripped the alarm and sent them on the run, and it's Simon who is wounded and bleeding badly.
Roy Cheung is the third member of the criminal gang, and he's so emotionally unstable that there's no telling what he's going to do.
The arms dealer, coolly played by Kenny Bee, constantly surveys the situation, evaluating how to survive. Doing the same thing is a waitress (Christine Ng), who is just as cool as the arms dealer when it comes to saving her own neck.
Outside, Michael Wong throws screaming fits as the officer in charge (including a priceless–and profane–interview with a TV reporter).
Throughout, director Marco Mak rachets up the tension. The action is quite limited, but the atmosphere is rife with possibilities. Too bad the script has little idea how best to exploit the situation. Still, there's enough interesting things going on to warrant a mild recommendation.
