Fox Lorber's DVD of "Tampopo" is decent at best, and excels in "getting the job done". It's has one text only special feature in the form of three filmographies. One for Itami, one for Yamazaki and one for Miiyamoto. Complaints fall flat though, because at least the picture and subtitles are decent. It comes letterboxed with removable Japanese subs, and the only complaint about these is that at certain moments they seemed a bit off time.
