The film was produced under the aegis of United Filmmakers Organization, which beginning in the mid-1990's specialized in comedies and dramas targeted toward teens and young adults.

The script was co-written by James Yuen (who directed his first film the following year), Aubrey Lam (Who's the Woman, Who's the Man, Purple Storm, Twelve Nights, Fighting for Love), and Wong Yuen Yin (this is Wong's sole credit to date).

There are at least five Hong Kong films released with this same English-language title.

The film's literal title is "Four 32A's And A Banana Teenager". (That's 32A as in a bra size!)

This film is part of a trilogy (known as the "Banana" trilogy) which includes the following films: Yesteryou, Yesterme, Yesterday; Over The Rainbow, Under The Skirt; Those Were The Days [1996].
