| Overview: | The director and two of the stars of Trouble Maker reunited the following year to make another romantic comedy. As in the earlier film, Takeshi Kaneshiro is attracted to a woman who initially rebuffs his advances. This time Athena Chu is his intended paramour, but she has difficulty escaping his overtures because it turns out she is his new supervisor at their place of business. Talk about dismay! And in another twist, she is also (drum roll, please) ... his new step-sister!
Devoted fans of Takeshi Kaneshiro will want to see this movie that came out just a month before the much more successful Lost and Found.
Very early in his career, director Jue Yin Ping was responsible for films such as Pink Force Commando and Fantasy Mission Force (possibly Jackie Chan's worst), but he rebounded by the early 1990's to make Butterfly Sword, End of the Road, and the Shaolin Popey kung fu comedies, as well as Trouble Maker.
