Completely insane early 1990's HK action ghost comedy, one of those that threatens to become headache-inducing, but manages to remain hugely enjoyable throughout. Plenty of ludicrous slapstick and gormless gurning from the cast. The woman playing the ghost plays it straight while all around her is wacky. Again, somehow it works to the film's advantage. Nicely done parody on all those horror and horrible-horror movies with elements of Night of the Living Dead, the Frightener and teen drive in flicks from the 50s. Great acting, wonderful sets and a female ghost who has a thing for toes and loosing her body. The cast appears to had a wonderful time working on this pic with great, moody lighting, quick camera work and really LOVELY ASIAN BEAUTIES holding the interest of us who admire this kind of scenery. As a side note this is Sharla Cheung-man's 5th movie in her long, glorious career. She's very cute, perky and spunky----I never tire watching her.
