This is a cheesy low budget wanna-be action film that has nothing (that I can tell) to do with either the "In The Line Of Duty" or "Yes, Madam!" series. The star of the film, Cynthia Khan, doesn't even make an appearance until 21 minutes into the show, but it's good to see her working again. Naturally, she looks a little older, but she does have a wide range of cute outfits to wear. Unfortunately, her three or four brief fight scenes are unremarkable, made worse by bad slow-mo photography and sloppy editing. Even veteran heavy hitters Chin Siu Ho and Billy Chow don't have anything to work with - it's a shame to see such talent wasted. Ms. Khan's character also states that "my kung fu used to be good, but I haven't practiced it in a while". Could this be a bleak vision of things to come for her? |
