Writer Raymond To's first two film scripts were Shanghai Blues and Peking Opera Blues. He currently serves as the artistic director of the Spring Time Group, which was established in 1995 and produces stage plays in Hong Kong.

Producer Clifton Ko has an active interest in the Hong Kong stage. Recently he has also produced writer/playwright Raymond To's feature debut, Forever and Ever, as well as To's adaptation of his stage play, Love au Zen.

Ko has a considerable amount of experience as a producer, including the classic Bride With White Hair. At the time of this writing, he has also directed more than 30 films.

Director Lee Ming Sum is from Beijing, China.

Adam Cheng became a dominant screen presence in the early 1980's (The Sword, Zu: Warriors from the Magic Mountain). He began acting in the late 1960's, but has concentrated on television work since 1994.
